Reverberant Evenings  


Reverberant Evenings is a solo project of the Sicilian composer Pietro Bonanno. The project is based on an idea of sound similar to brushstrokes of color on a canvas whose result is a blurred image of a dream. These brushstrokes are sound textures produced by digital and analog synthesizers and by slow-down procedures of existing samples whose overlaps create very long transition passages dense with micro-changes. The idea is to be spectators of a strange and confused reality that recalls a series of memories of a past that is not necessarily true. This is why the more or less clear reference to ancestral cultures, or dreamlike.
