Kamil Kowalczyk aka Machine Thoughts and Maszyna_02 hails from Poland. As a youngster, he was exposed to, and begun to admire, the music of Jean Michele Jarre and Tangerine Dream. As he grew older he became interested in a variety of different electronic music styles, such as techno, trance, and ambient. To sum it up in his own words "I love any kind of electronica." He has been producing music since 2002.
Kamil is torn between his desire to utilize analog equipment and real modular synthesizers and the use of contemporary software synthesis, which he considers to be the future of electronic music. His influences are eclectic and "hard to explain." As he explains it, his own life experiences and that of the people around hima are what inspire him to create his works. He likes to consider his music as an experiment with synthesis and his desire to create something that is new and never heard before, the influces of other ambient, noise, and minimal musicans can definetely be felt.
