Japanese: ...You know that the Japanese stage is empty.
Inquirer: That emptiness demands uncommon concentration.
Japanese: Thanks to that concentration, only a slight additional gesture on the actor's part is required to cause mighty things to appear out of a strange stillness.

a dark minimal ambience

1. Margins 1
2. Track Changes
3. Margins 2
4. Minor Loss of Fidelity
5. Uchi/Soto

a bright minimal ambience

1. Airships Part 1
2. A Report on Balloons
3. At the End of Continents Part 1
4. We Saw the Storms
5. Cloud Scraping With Loved Ones
6. At the End of Continents Part 2
7. Airships Part 2
8. Four am

These tracks were influenced by three writers: Barry Hannah with his wonderful collection of short stories, "Airships," a myriad of Donald Barthelme's work of focused American absurdity, and the romantic SF (precursor to Steampunk) work of Michael Moorcock, especially, "The Nomad of the Time Streams."
