an abstract ambient soundpoem

01 impacts 29:23
02 epitaphs 16:26

NINE ELEVEN is a soundpoem intended as memorial and tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks 20 years ago. Abstract noisescapes to give the impression of mechanical destruction both in impacts as in epitaphs - the outbursts of asymmetrical war (within). Sound to awake remembrance in isolation.

Fabio Keiner
Fabio Keiner is from Wien (Vienna), Austria.

Fabio Keiner - originally more influenced by vanguard composers like Giacinto Scelsi or analogue soundartists like Bob Rutman - came into ambient/soundscaping/noise with the emergence of software synthesizers and soundtools almost 20 years ago.

His works spanning over two decades are scatterd into a dozen of netlabels and online portals - some long forgotten, some still in broadcast (like wwww.jamendo.com). Now, after yearlong excursions into the fields of abstract ambient, windharp-operas and even overtone singing, he is returning to his original approach of noisescaping: raw and unscathed by melodies.
